Курс VMware vSAN: Troubleshooting [V7]

The course is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to troubleshoot VMware vSAN 7 virtualized infrastructure. Participants will actively work with the tools and perform laboratory exercises under the guidance of the instructor. The course is aimed at system administration engineers, technical specialists, and other professionals responsible for managing and maintaining VMware vSAN 7 infrastructure.

• The student will know what components make up the vSAN infrastructure and how they interact with each other.
• The student will be able to describe how the various components of vSAN communicate with each other and how they work together to keep the system running.
• The student will understand what the states of objects and components in vSAN are and how to distinguish between them, which will allow effective identification and resolution of problems.
• The student will be able to use the Skyline Health tool to analyze the status and health of the vSAN system, as well as to identify possible problems and identify failure conditions.
• The student will gain practical skills in using command-line tools to analyze, identify and solve problems in the vSAN system.

Storage and virtual infrastructure administrators who want to be able to perform initial troubleshooting on their software-defined storage with vSAN

To complete the course, one of the following conditions must be met: Understanding of the concepts presented in the VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage course. Completion of VMware vSAN: Deploy and Manage course or have equivalent vSAN experience. You have experience working with command line interfaces. The course assumes that the student will be able to independently perform the following tasks: Use VMware vSphere Client for standard operations. Create and manage VMware vCenter Server objects such as data centers, clusters, hosts, and virtual machines. Create and modify standard switches. Change distributed switches. Create VMware vSphere VMFS datastores. Use a wizard or template to create virtual machines. Migrate virtual machines using VMware vSphere vMotion and VMware vSphere Storage vMotion. If you are not confident in your skills, VMware recommends taking the "VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage" and "VMware vSAN: Deploy and Manage" courses.
